5 Reasons to Have A Commercial Roofing Plan

Jan 08, 2021

There’s a big difference between good doctors and bad ones. A great roofing contractor is no different.

If you needed medical care, who would you look for?

You’d want the best doctor in whatever area your issue is in, right?

In this article, we will cover the top five reasons a commercial roof maintenance plan is one of the best investments you can make for the life of your roof:

Having a roof maintenance plan from a quality roofing contractor is like going to your doctor for regular check-ups. A roof maintenance plan ensures that your roof stays in great shape and any issues going on under the surface will be found and dealt with before they can cause too much damage.

  1. You will Receive an Initial Inspection and Roof Maintenance Action Plan Estimating the Health and Life of Your Roof.
  2. Yearly Roof Maintenance is Required to Maintain a Manufacturer's No Dollar Limit Warranty.
  3. Peace of Mind Knowing your Commercial Roof is Thoroughly Inspected Every Year.
  4. Extend the Life of your Commercial Roof with Yearly Roof Maintenance.
  5. Save Thousands of Dollars in the Long Run with Preventative Roof Maintenance.

1) You will Receive an Initial Inspection and Roof Maintenance Action Plan, Estimating the Health and Life of Your Roof.

You are going to receive a detail roof report showing:

  • Any cleaning that has to get done on your gutters, drains, drains or on any part of the roof.
  • Roof penetrations that need attention.
  • Check all the flashings on around the roof curbs, walls, drip edge, or cap metal.
  • Any physical damage from flying debris or from contractors being on the roof.

We have three different maintenance plans to choose from. These are just the basics.

More information about our plans can be found here: www.advantageok.net/cmp

2) Yearly Roof Maintenance is Required to Maintain a Manufacturer's No Dollar Limit Warranty.

Warranties are great, but just like your vehicle that has a powertrain warranty sometimes of 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. If the engine blows due to not doing oil changes then it is not covered. The same rule applies with the roofing manufacturer.

3) Peace of Mind Knowing your Commercial Roof is Thoroughly Inspected Every Year.

It is not a question of WHETHER is going to happen... It is WHEN, and HOW MUCH is it going to cost!

Unplanned repairs are costly. According to a US Air Force multi-year maintenance study.

4) Extend the Life of your Commercial Roof with Yearly Roof Maintenance.

Nearly 80% of roofs are replaced prematurely. Routine roof inspections are an important component to all low slope roofing systems and could maximize the life of your roof by nearly 40%. Also, if you use a certified maintenance professional contractor, you ADD an additional coverage for FREE when a GAF NDL warranty is given to your roof.

5) Extend the Life of your Commercial Roof with Yearly Roof Maintenance.

Think about all the problems you would be protecting yourself against -

  • Production downtime
  • Lost use of space due to leaks
  • Tenants complaining every time it rains
  • Interior damage
  • Interior fungal growth

How many thousands of dollars have you, or are you going to lose due to not having a maintenance program?
